Furnace Heat Treatment

Thermal Hire can offer contract furnace heat treatment services for a wide range of heat treatment applications including quenching/tempering in our 30 furnaces. 

The furnace heat treatment services are based in our Works at Wigan in Lancashire and at Hartlepool and Hebburn in the N.E. of England.

Site Heat Treatment Services

Thermal Hire provides contract services for on-site heat treatment.  These services include both electrical resistance and high velocity gas-fired techniques and so can undertake a wide range of applications that include the localised heat treatment of pipework, refractory dry-out and the PWHT of large spheres and cylindrical vessels.

Heat treatment Equipment

We manufacture a wide range of electrical resistance and gas-fired equipment at our Wigan Works.

The range includes heating elements, power supply/temperature control units and temperature recording equipment.

Induction Heat Treatment

We have now extended our range of available contract services in electrical resistance and gas-fired heating to include induction heat treatment. 

The ease of preparation, high heating intensity and efficient use of energy combine to provide options for localised heat treatments and shrink fitting/removal of component parts.
