The combustion air fan is driven by a directly coupled electric motor and is mounted on a heavy-duty steel framework constructed in angle section. A number of other items are incorporated within the frame:
A 380/440V 3-phase and neutral isolator and starter, mounted on the control panel section.
An air pressure switch site at the burner air inlet.
Two single-phase electrical outlets connected to the air pressure switch to ensure that power is not transmitted to the control train until the fan provides a safe airflow at the correct pressure.
