50kVA Transformer Unit - 6 Channel Temperature Controllers

The 50kVA heat treatment unit has been robustly constructed to provide power for electrical resistance heating elements at 60 volts, suitable for site and workshop working.

The output from the unit is split into six individual heating circuits for temperature control. Each output circuit has 8.3kW of power which is sufficient capacity for three standard ceramic heating pads rated at 2.7kW each and connected in parallel.

Each of the six circuits may be controlled individually using a combination of energy regulators and set-point temperature controllers - these are an integral part of the unit. Alternatively, fully automatic control is possible by connecting a separate programmer unit (or switching to an integrated version, see 100004) to gain control over rates of heating and cooling as well as soak conditions.
