The 65kVA heat treatment unit has been robustly constructed to provide power to electrical resistance heaters at 60V, suitable for site and workshop working.
The output from the unit is split into six individual heating circuits for temperature control. Each output circuit has 10.8kW of power which is sufficient capacity for four standard ceramic pads rated at 2.7kW and connected in prallel.
Each of the six circuits can be controlled collectively using a fully automatic temperature programmer - this is an integral part of the unit. The fully automatic programmer unit permits control over rates of heating and cooling as well as soak conditions. Each circuit can be controlled individually at a set point.
